At DePauw, in addition to my role as a newspaper staff writer, I assisted with some video production for on-campus news stories. This experience greatly increased my knowledge of the video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro and the audio editing software Audacity.
This is an example of a news story from April 2024 I helped to produce. In this video sample, I worked with three partners to produce this story. My main roles were the video and audio production of the piece, and acting as the stand-up reporter to introduce and close out the story.
