At DePauw, in addition to my other news roles, I assisted with some radio news broadcasting for our University’s radio station, WGRE. This experience greatly increased my knowledge of broadcast writing, radio broadcasting, and the audio editing software audacity.
WGRE is a student-run radio station at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and the first 10-watt, non-commercial educational radio station licensed by the FCC in 1949.
